Message from the President

While I joke to friends that growing up on a farm in eastern North Carolina was my motivation for higher education, the truth of the matter is that my best education happened on that family farm. My parents instilled in me the fundamental values of my character. Those core values are family, community, faith, work ethic, pride, and integrity. Whether cropping tobacco, scouting cotton, rounding up cattle, or throwing hay, I learned those values the right way.

Working with Stone Pump and Trench has felt like a homecoming for me. The core values that my parents taught me on the farm are the same fundamental beliefs that permeate the culture of our Company – no doubt a result and a credit to the great parents of our team members. Working with such a great group of people makes me feel like I have found my way home and returned to my roots.
